Integreat Electronics Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Integreat Electronics Pty Ltd (ABN 63 607 571 782) (“Integreat Electronics”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit integreatelectronics.com.au (the “Site”), buy from us, or engage us for design, supply and installation work.

We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us using the details at the end.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Device information. When you visit the Site we automatically collect information about your device, including your browser type, IP address, time zone, and cookies stored on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages and products you view, the website or search terms that referred you, and how you interact with the Site.

Order information. When you make or attempt to make a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, delivery address, email address, phone number, and payment details. Card numbers are captured and processed by our payment providers — we do not store full card numbers ourselves.

Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password (stored in encrypted form by Shopify) and your order history.

Enquiry and project information. If you contact us, request a quote, submit a purchase request for dealer-restricted items, or complete our home automation questionnaire, we collect the details you give us. For installation and integration work this may include your property address, site details, plans and drawings, and notes about your requirements.

We refer to all of the above collectively as “personal information”.

We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, racial or ethnic origin, or political or religious beliefs) and ask that you do not send it to us.

2. HOW WE COLLECT IT

We collect personal information directly from you when you place an order, create an account, subscribe to our mailing list, complete a form, email or phone us, or visit our Fyshwick showroom by appointment.

We collect device information automatically using the following technologies:

Cookies are small data files placed on your device. They keep your cart and session working, remember your preferences, and support analytics and advertising. For general information about cookies, see allaboutcookies.org.

Log files record actions on the Site, including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.

Web beacons, tags and pixels are electronic files used to record how you browse the Site.

The analytics and advertising services currently operating on the Site are Shopify’s built-in store analytics, Google Analytics, Google Ads (including remarketing and conversion measurement), and Google Merchant Center analytics. We do not currently run Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok or other third-party advertising pixels on the Site.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use order information to fulfil orders — processing payment, arranging delivery or installation, and issuing invoices and order confirmations. We also use it to:

– communicate with you about your order, quote, project or warranty claim;

– screen orders for fraud or risk;

– register products for manufacturer warranty and arrange service or repairs;

– provide quotes, system designs and after-sales support;

– send you marketing about our products and services, where you have asked to receive it;

– meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

We use device information to screen for risk and fraud (particularly your IP address), to understand how customers use the Site so we can improve it, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We share personal information only where necessary, with:

Shopify, which hosts our online store. You can read Shopify’s privacy policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy.

Payment providers, who process your payment securely.

Couriers and freight carriers, who need your delivery address and contact details.

Suppliers, distributors and manufacturers, where a product ships direct to you, or where your details are needed to register a warranty or process a repair or return.

Google, for analytics and advertising as described above. See policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage Google ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com.

Subcontractors we engage to carry out installation or service work at your property.

Professional advisers, such as our accountants and insurers.

We may also disclose personal information where required by law, or to respond to a subpoena, warrant or other lawful request, or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. OVERSEAS DISCLOSURE

Some of the service providers above store or process data outside Australia. In particular, Shopify operates from Canada and the United States, and Google from the United States and other countries. By using the Site you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to and stored in those countries, which may not have privacy laws equivalent to Australia’s.

6. MARKETING AND HOW TO OPT OUT

If you have subscribed to our mailing list or bought from us, we may send you occasional marketing about products, promotions and services we think will interest you. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by clicking it or by emailing us. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about an order, quote or service job.

7. CONTROLLING COOKIES

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the Site working properly, including your cart and checkout. Please note that we do not currently alter our data collection practices in response to a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

8. SECURITY

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. The Site is served over an encrypted connection and payment details are handled by PCI-compliant payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep order and project records for as long as needed to service the sale and any warranty, and to meet our legal obligations — including tax and business records we are required to retain for at least five years, and Australian Consumer Law obligations that may run longer for installed systems. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

10. ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period, normally 30 days. There is no fee to make a request, though we may charge a reasonable cost for retrieving extensive records. If we refuse access or correction, we will tell you why in writing.

You can also ask us to delete your account information, subject to records we are legally required to keep.

11. COMPLAINTS

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first — email sales@integreatelectronics.com with “Privacy Complaint” in the subject line. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): oaic.gov.au, or phone 1300 363 992.

12. CHILDREN

The Site is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The current version is always available on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised.

See how automation can simplify and enhance your life

Lighting Control

Lighting control when coupled with the right design and fixtures can carry the mood of a residence. It can support your body's natural circadian rhythm, enhancing your sleep quality, energy levels, and overall comfort.

With KNX we offer control of all widely adopted lighting control methods including DALI, phase and 0-10 volt.

Climate Control

Control your home's temperature and save money on your power bills with our climate control solutions. We incorporate climate control into home automation, providing you with enhanced energy efficiency, unparalleled comfort, and effortless control all through your touchscreen, tablet or phone.

With remote access, monitor and adjust your home's temperature from
anywhere, ensuring a welcoming environment upon arrival. You can also integrate solar to maximise renewable energy utilisation.

Energy Management

Energy management helps you get the most out of your home or commercial space. Where a property already has solar and battery storage installed, we can deploy logic to run the most power hungry devices when solar production has reached a threshold. This includes heating the pool, increasing the thermal mass in the space through HVAC or hydronic, all while the sun is shining.

This is even more important in an off grid set up, where we can deploy load shedding which disables non essential power to devices as battery levels are depleted, keeping the fundamentals of the home energised.

Energy management integrates with your existing solar and battery system as part of a broader home automation solution.

Home Theatre

A dedicated Home Theatre space can allow you to enjoy your favourite movies and TV shows in the comfort of your own home. Increasingly the space can be designed as a multi purpose area for a listening room or bespoke bar or cellar area.

Available by appointment is our dedicated theatre room featuring a Sony VPL-XW7000ES 4K laser projector, Lumagen video processor and Anthem AVM processing for an immersive Dolby Atmos 7.2.4 system.

Also available to be heard but not seen is our 5.1 invisible media room. Featuring Sonance invisible speakers and subwoofers driven by a Yamaha AVENTAGE receiver.

Multi Room Audio

Multi-room audio is a crucial component of any project. It enhances the ambiance and creates a captivating atmosphere for various occasions. We offer solutions for both the home and commercial spaces.

With multi-room audio, you have the power to curate a synchronized music playlist that seamlessly flows from room to room, immersing every corner of your home or business space.

Integrating multi-room audio with your TV system allows for an immersive audio experience, bringing movies, shows, and sporting events to life with precise, high-quality sound.

As an independent Yamaha and Sonos Dealer, we offer standalone systems that deliver exceptional audio performance and flexibility. Additionally, our range includes Control4 and Savant multi-room audio, enabling you to effortlessly control and manage your entire audio ecosystem through a centralised platform.

Whether you desire a soothing ambience, a lively party atmosphere our multi-room audio solutions provide unmatched convenience, versatility, and superior sound quality for your residence.

Network

A robust network is the backbone that provides communication and connectivity for a plethora of devices in your home. We understand the critical importance of a reliable network and have seen this grow year on year. Our preferred deployment is Ubiquiti UniFi networks, offering an all-encompassing solution from routers to remote management, switches, and wireless access points.

The network is the unsung hero that unites all facets of home automation, making everything work in harmony. Without a strong network foundation, the performance of your smart devices, audio visual and automation devices will be inhibited or fail.

We provide a heat map of the residence to give predicted Wi-Fi coverage of all bands adjusting if necessary. Seamless roaming and correct network installation takes about 99% of perceived issues in the automated home.

Security

Modern home security and access control affords you convenience and peace of mind. Our preferred access control system from Inception provides you with unparalleled flexibility and security, granting access through various methods such as PIN, remote, or through the secure app anywhere in the world. For larger residences, we go the extra mile by creating personalised time profiles and user settings, allowing easy access for regular contractors while maintaining overall security. This access can be adjusted immediately and set to expire periodically.

Our CCTV solutions act as a formidable deterrent, providing you with an additional layer of peace of mind. The ability to access your cameras at any time and extract footage, if necessary, ensures you are always in control of your home's safety.

Whether you prefer a standalone setup or seamless integration with our preferred control systems, Control4 and Savant, we've got you covered.
